Location
We are within walking distance to dining. The resort is two miles from the town of Vergas, where you can find groceries, laundrymat and a friendly shopping atmosphere. Check out the new Trow Bridge Zoo while you are in town! We are only 15 minutes from Detroit Lakes, home of Soo Pass Ranch and We Fest, offering amusement parks, shopping, many restaurants, and flea markets; a movie theatre, a hospital, many clinics, a large and well equipped community center (ask us about discounted day passes). Detroit Lakes is also home to the new and rebuilt Detroit Mountain, a four season recreational lodge offering skiing, hiking, and dirt biking among many other outdoor activities. Many antique shops are within 30-45 minutes radius of Rose Ridge. A short drive will take you to Itasca State Park, headwaters of the Mississippi River, Tamarac Wildlife Area, and Shooting Star Casino.

Our onsite office is located in the log sided 2 car garage across from the Cottage. Our home office is located down the road. Upon arrival your cabin will be unlocked and ready for you to check in.

Vergas
The community of Vergas, is nestled in the heart of "Lake
Country," and is surrounded by gentle rolling fields and fresh water lakes. The town of Vergas has something to offer for everyone. Vergas is best known for it's statue of the "World's Largest Loon." The town of Vergas really does offer something for all ages. Including restaurants, gift shops, lakes, and recreation. Vergas is a "full service" community offering a grocery store, bank, hardware, post office, plumbing shop, and gas/convienent stations to meet all of your needs, living by the motto; "Large enough to serve you and small enough to know you!" |
Rose Lake
Rose Lake covers almost 1200 acres with over 9 miles of shoreline and a maximum depth of 137 feet. Rose Lake is spring fed and remains clean and clear all year. The clear water makes for exciting and challenging fishing, with numerous drop-offs for excellent structure. Rose lake offers both the novice and experienced fisherman an opportunity to catch a variety of fish including Northern-Pike, Walleye, Crappie, Bass, and Sunfish. Nearby is a public access for boat launching.
Little Rose is a 40 acre lake which only our guests have access to. We provide row boats for our guests to enjoy a lazy morning or afternoon rowing around on our private little piece of heaven. |
